From a very young age, I discovered that being an entrepreneur was my passion. When I was 8, I asked Santa for a cash register because I loved transforming my room into a boutique, displaying everything from my clothes to my toys. I would invite my friends over and persuade them to rent or buy things I no longer used. My game became even more interesting when I started renting (and selling) books from my brother’s library—a diversification that, in retrospect, was great for my first business, although it did cause some issues at home.
That cash register was the key to discovering my passion for business and for creating solutions for the countless needs people have. That favorite toy marked the beginning of a long entrepreneurial journey, one as diverse as it has been filled with adventures and profound learning experiences. One of the most significant lessons was the opportunity to work with my father, a great businessman who taught me to obsess over helping customers, to invest in long-term relationships, and to be a student of every aspect of each business.
I am passionate about creating businesses and innovative marketing concepts that resonate with consumers through Experience Design and Emotional Marketing. Design and fashion are disruptive complements in my career that allow me to break stereotypes in the industries I work in, creating differentiation. My passion for design and its application as a differentiating element in business has taken me around the world to explore new cultures and their trends, and to have the courage to humbly challenge the conventional. It is from this perspective that I help companies implement creative marketing strategies to maximize their potential and reach the growing Hispanic markets in the United States and Latin America.
For over two decades, I have participated in and led various entrepreneurial projects and have had the fortune of co-founding several companies and organizations. But I haven’t achieved all this alone… I feel incredibly proud and fortunate to have a wonderful team of partners, advisors, and professionals capable of transforming any challenge into great opportunities to create value and differentiation.
On a personal note, I am a dog lover, which inspired me to found Daalma, an organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of homeless dogs. In my free time, I love hiking, improvising on the saxophone, and appreciating art. I love traveling alongside my husband, my accomplice whom I admire and who has been a very important part of my growth. Always accompanied by our adorable Golden Retrievers, we live in different cities, embrace each new adventure, and create unforgettable memories through our experiences.
