How it all Started

My life has been a journey of unforgettable experiences in each of the facets that I have undertaken, and that have been the pillar of both my personal and professional character.

My professional career began in 2000 in the world of Cinema and Television, studying and working with great teachers such as Pepe Sánchez, Manuel Teodoro, Ramón Jimeno, and others to whom I am grateful for being part of my personal discovery, finding those areas that excite me in my professional development.

While working in this field, I completed my career as a Social Communicator with an emphasis on organizational communication at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in 2007. Corporate communication and marketing were the beginning of discovering and affirming my future as an entrepreneur, and they were also key points to make the transition from the media to the corporate world.

While training, I had the opportunity to have other great teachers such as Robert Kaplan and Joan Costa, who inspired me to think globally and live experiences outside my country, regardless of the obstacles I had to overcome. My passion for strategic communication and marketing has been so great that I graduated with honors, receiving recognition with a prize-winning thesis.

New Horizons

My interest in living new experiences, learning about new cultures, having new adventures, and most importantly, taking on challenges to improve my career, motivated me to make the decision to travel to the United States and relocate there at the end of 2006, when I was about to start the last year of my degree.

I dedicated myself to studying and working with renowned local press and television media such as Telemundo, Univisión, and others. I also organized and directed community events until 2009, where the dream I had always worked for became a reality: “entrepreneur”.

Starting a Dream

I established my company in 2009, and there my life took a different path with different priorities. I continued my professional training to obtain a Master’s Degree in Business Administration which I completed in 2012 in Madrid Spain, graduating with the best thesis project, which today represents what my company Commeta is, where I am the founder and serve as Executive Director.

In this new stage as an entrepreneur and passionate strategist, I specialized in creating innovative marketing concepts that raise consumer awareness towards my clients’ brands, products, and services. I have had the opportunity to work with national and international markets in the development and execution of effective marketing strategies that generate unforgettable experiences.

Betting on my Roots

Over the past 11 years, I have focused my efforts on helping Hispanic entrepreneurs in the United States reach their full potential, and at the same time, I have helped non-Hispanic companies reach the growing Hispanic markets in the United States and Latin America through campaigns and implementations that raise awareness among Hispanics. Understanding that the influence and decision-making power of the Hispanic market is decisive in the United States.

This experience has allowed me to clearly understand both the domestic Hispanic market and the individual idiosyncrasies of Latin America.

Emotional and Experiential

Life has placed me in the health industry in different ways, from my social environment, to working as a marketing and image consultant for different doctors, medical groups, clinics, and foundations.

This has allowed me to connect my emotions, working in depth with an industry that is generating constant changes for something we all need, health.

This is how I feel that my work is contributing to helping society, through creative concepts that promote consumers’ emotions with unforgettable experiences.
